I've been thinking about something I read in Michael Talbot's Mysticism and the new physics. It was about how our reality is made up of multiple universes where all possibilities exist and with each decision we make (or act of will) we enter a new universe. If this is the case then there is a segment of universes that I exist and in these universes I would experience the worst hell at one end and the most bliss at the other. We exist in all possible points at once. All outcomes are possible, even one where we live in a paradise, never aging and never dying.
Another thing that was stated was that since reality was a matter of perception, that is we define what we experience from our metaprograming. Metaprogramming being what was taught to us during our lives by our parents, teachers, peers and also from books and other media. We can change our metaprogramming to reflect a new paradigm where we are open to new possibilities.
Talbot also mentioned that the reason we experience the same reality, or almost the same, was that there was a collective consensus between individuals. I think that if we can get a majority of individuals to agree upon a new paradigm we could effectively change reality for the better. From one universe to one where we are the creators of new universes.
